This is the page title
This page is a template for other pages you may wish to add to the website. They don't all need to have the exact same layout as this and the homepage, but similar layouts make it easier for your visitors to read and understand the organization of your site.
Notice that this text box is center-aligned and placed between two spacer blocks so that the text does not run all the way across the page!
If you want to make a new page based on this one, you can click on the "Pages" tab at the top of the window, then click on "Template" on the left and click Copy.
You can change the logo and background image in the header above. Changes you make here will apply to this page only. We recommend leaving the header the same across all pages for consistency.

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT REMINDER:
USE THIS RED COLOR (#dd4e41) FOR IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS OR CAUTIONS. This text block and the one above it are inside of a "Section" block. You can click on a section block to bring up the "edit background" option, then upload a photo for a background. Use Weebly's image editing controls or an external editor to make sure that the image is light enough to read the text over it. Test on different size windows or devices to make sure.

Layout vertically
The website is designed for long pages and vertical scrolling. This keeps the reader from being overwhelmed by too many words or graphic elements all at once. In this list, a single column with whitespace on either side makes a simpler and cleaner layout than multiple columns or very wide text blocks.

These icons are all the maroon color included in the Trout brand guide, #573b35.

You can link to this page using Weebly's linking tool ("Create link" on the text editor bar). By highlighting the text and selecting the link destination, you can create links to any of the pages in the website, or an external link to a separate website. You can use links like this to allow navigation between pages on the site, or you can enable the top menu and add pages to that. To enable the top menu, click on 'Theme' at the top of the page, then click on 'Edit HTML/CSS' in the bottom left corner. Then click on the 'Main.less' file in the left column and delete line 12, which should read: ".unite-header{display:none;}" Now in the Pages tab in the top menu, click on the pages you want shown in the menu and make sure the "Hide in Navigation" checkbox is not checked.
|
Another step in setting up new pages is to set a page title, description and permalink. Click on a page in the left column, then click on SEO Settings. Here you can set the title that will appear at the top of your web browser window, a description that will help search engines direct people to your site, and a permalink, which you can use to link directly to a specific page in emails, social media, or printed materials.
THIS BOX IS THE SAME COLOR AS THE TITLE, #588cbf. TITLE BLOCKS SHOULD FORMAT AUTOMATICALLY, BUT THIS IS JUST A TEXT BLOCK MANUALLY FORMATTED TO MATCH.
THE CONTENT BELOW IS THE FOOTER. IT IS THE SAME AS THE HOMEPAGE, THOUGH CHANGES YOU MAKE HERE WILL APPLY TO THIS PAGE ONLY. YOU CAN HAVE A DIFFERENT FOOTER FOR EACH PAGE, BUT IT'S BEST PRACTICE TO KEEP THE SAME FOOTER ACROSS ALL PAGES ON THE SITE. |
AboutThe Help Native Fish educational materials were created in 2018 to raise awareness about what people who live, work, and recreate near riparian areas can do to help native fish. Currently the materials have been implemented throughout Eastern Oregon.
